Why you would never, ever want to buy a used text book from me.

I have a lot of books. They all end up looking like this. I also collect a lot of ideas and code and keep it all in a workbook. It’s a bit like a cook book so that I can go back again and again and come up with new ideas or easily find some code that I can’t recall.

I love packtpublishing. They offer every single book that they publish as an ebook for $5 each. The problem is that for me, the act of reading is very much a physical experience. I want to hold it in my hands and go crazy with markers and highlighters. Sure, you can highlight PDF documents but there is something lost in that experience.  That is a pretty small trade off for how much you can get for $5 however..
